About the role

This position assists investigators in coordinating public health research studies. Responsibilities include implementing and managing study protocols, ensuring compliance, recruiting and enrolling participants, analyzing data, and preparing reports.

Responsibilities

  • Routinely implements and manages all phases of study/protocol
  • Ensures compliance with protocol guidelines and requirements of regulatory agencies
  • Establishes record-keeping systems
  • Makes assessments and determinations of participants' progress in the study and records progress into database
  • Analyzes, investigates, and reports adverse events
  • Serves as liaison with funding or sponsoring agency
  • Recruits and enrolls study participants
  • Develops and prepares informed consent packets for study participants
  • Administers/scores tests and/or evaluates all assessments to ensure they are completed in a timely manner
  • Ensures timely completion of all protocol requirements, including scheduling and facilitating the participant’s timely completion of protocol requirements
  • Evaluates, analyzes, and interprets qualitative and/or quantitative data of low complexity in conjunction with investigator as applicable and appropriate
  • Prepares oral or written presentations or reports and analyses setting forth progress trends and/or provides recommendations or conclusions of the same
  • Conducts literature reviews under the supervision of the investigator
  • Affords assistance with grant and manuscript preparations
  • Collects public health data under public health research protocols
  • Performs other duties incidental to the work described herein

Working Conditions

Normal office environment. Physical effort typically sitting at desk or table. Equipment includes office equipment.

Education

Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education.
