Public Health Nurse - Full Time

Role

Join our team as a Public Health Nurse (Community Health Service).

Responsibilities

• Provide client care through health assessments, vital signs, and health history documentation
• Evaluate referrals and develop personalized care plans
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate services
• Offer office and home visits during pregnancy, postpartum, and neonatal assessments
• Deliver health education and interventions for prenatal, postpartum, and newborn clients
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulations
• Mentor nursing students, community health workers, and new staff
• Perform clinical duties aligned with accreditation and organizational standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Nursing or equivalent experience; RN license required
• Experience with newborn exams preferred
• Valid driver's license and, if applicable, bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency
• Knowledge of nursing procedures, maternal/baby medications, and therapeutic communication
• Basic computer skills and ability to prioritize tasks
• Current BLS certification; lactation certification may be required
