Public Finance Legal Assistant

Duties

  • Draft, review, and revise a variety of transactional legal documents, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Cook up all aspects of transaction closings, including finalizing execution documents, preparing closing binders, and distributing completed materials to clients and other relevant parties.
  • Plan and coordinate meeting logistics, including scheduling conference rooms, video conferences, catering, and other meeting arrangements.
  • Manage meeting communications by preparing and distributing invitations, agendas, and supporting materials.
  • Maintain complex attorney calendars, coordinating domestic and international travel, client meetings, firm committee meetings, and other internal and external appointments.
  • Organize, maintain, and manage both physical and electronic client files, ensuring proper document retention and accessibility.
  • Prepare, review, and monitor attorney time entries to support accurate client billing.

Requirements

Candidates must have 3+ years of relevant transactional experience within public finance in a law firm setting.
