About the role
Dinsmore has an immediate opportunity available for a public finance associate in the Cleveland, OH; Cincinnati, OH; Columbus, OH; or Pittsburgh, PA offices. We are open to entry-level candidates licensed in Ohio or Pennsylvania as well as those with some experience in public finance or municipal and governmental law. Entry-level associates will be trained and will work closely with our attorneys.
Responsibilities
- Serve as bond counsel, representing lenders, borrowers, and underwriters in a wide range of financial transactions
- Manage all levels of transactions through to closing
- Develop best practices
- Utilize all available resources to resolve legal issues and counsel clients
Requirements
- Strong academic background
- Detail-oriented
- Excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Licensed to practice in Ohio or Pennsylvania (preferred), or willing to sit for the Ohio or Pennsylvania bar, or eligible for admission in Ohio or Pennsylvania

Pay
The base salary for this position starts at $172,000 and increases depending on experience and qualifications. Competitive bonus potential of up to $45,000+.
