Public Entity Underwriter
for section headings like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Use - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and
for prose. Do NOT repeat job title as heading. Do NOT put Job ID/requisition numbers as headings. Preserve all substantive info; remove boilerplate, navigation, legal, EEO, equal-opportunity, scam-warning, duplicated lines, application instructions. Include a section ONLY when posting has real, specific content for it—never emit heading followed by filler/placeholder text like "commensurate with experience", etc. Never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless posting actually states them.
We need to parse the posting: It includes a description of Global HR, then "Job Summary", then "Your Job" with bullet-like paragraphs, then "Your Profile" with bullet-like list, then "About Us", then DEI statements, etc.
We need to decide which sections to include: Likely "About the role" (maybe from Job Summary), "Responsibilities" (Your Job), "Requirements" or "Qualifications" (Your Profile), maybe "Skills" (could be part of profile). Benefits, Pay, Schedule: not mentioned explicitly. No pay or benefits details given. So we should not include Pay, Benefits, Schedule sections.
We need to preserve all substantive information. So we need to extract the prose and list items.
We need to format using
for each section heading. Use - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. Use
for prose.
We need to avoid duplication. Also need to remove boilerplate like "All candidates in consideration..." etc? That's part of DEI statement; maybe keep as it's substantive? It's about diversity statement; might be considered boilerplate but it's part of posting. The instruction: Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. The DEI statement might be considered EEO/equal-opportunity boilerplate. It says "Diversity, Equity & Inclusion: we embrace..." That's likely EEO boilerplate. Should we remove? The instruction says remove EEO/equal-opportunity boilerplate. So we should remove the DEI sections. Also "All candidates in consideration..." is also EEO. So remove those.
Also "About Us" description of Munich Re might be considered substantive? It's about company; maybe keep as "About the role"? Actually "About Us" is company overview; could be considered part of "About the role"? But we have a section "About the role" maybe we can put the Job Summary there. The "About Us" could be considered company description; maybe we keep as a separate section? The allowed headings are limited to those listed: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. So we cannot add a custom heading like "About Us". So we need to fit content into those headings. The "About Us" could be placed under "About the role" maybe as part of role description. Or we could omit it if not fitting. But we need to preserve ALL substantive information; we cannot omit company description if it's substantive. However the instruction says we should only include sections when posting has real, specific content for it. It doesn't forbid having extra content inside a section beyond the heading. So we can put company description inside "About the role" section.
Thus we will have sections:
- About the role: combine Job Summary and maybe About Us description (company overview) and maybe the introductory paragraph about Global HR.
- Responsibilities: the "Your Job" detailed duties.
- Requirements: maybe "Your Profile" bullet list (experience, skills). Could also split into Qualifications and Skills but we can just use Requirements (or Qualifications). The instruction says prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. So we can have About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements.
We need to use
for each section heading.
Inside sections, we need to use
for prose and
- for lists.
We need to extract list items from the "Your Job" and "Your Profile". The "Your Job" is a series of sentences each starting with a verb; we can treat each as a list item.
Similarly "Your Profile" bullet list: each line starting with "Payroll experience...", etc.
We need to preserve all substantive information; we should not lose details.
Let's parse the text.
First, introductory paragraph before "Job Summary":
"Working in Global HR at Munich Re for Reinsurance & Specialty Group means being part of a dynamic, globally connected team that plays a critical role in shaping the future of our organization. As an HR professional, you contribute to the success of our business by supporting people strategies that drive transformation, foster collaboration, and enable sustainable growth. Our Global HR function is evolving to meet the needs of a fast-changing world. We operate in a connected, collaborative, and forward-thinking Global HR matrix community that values empathy, initiative, and a global mindset—where every team member plays a role in delivering effective services and solutions and creating meaningful impact. Whether your focus is talent, rewards, analytics, business partnering, services, or any other area of HR, you will work across regions and functions to co-create solutions that support our people and business. You will be empowered to collaborate, innovate, and grow—contributing to a culture that values diversity, continuous learning, and shared success. Join us in building the future of Global HR."
That's substantive; we can include in About the role.
Then "Job Summary":
"The Payroll Specialist is responsible for the accurate and compliant delivery of payroll operations across the UK and Ireland through the iTrent payroll platform, while co-ordinating payroll processing with external payroll providers across Europe and Latin America (EULA). The role acts as a key interface between our HR Services and Rewards teams, the HR teams, our payroll vendors, and our employees ensuring data integrity between SAP SuccessFactors Time Management, and payroll systems. The position supports payroll governance, statutory compliance, system integration activities, payroll controls, reporting, and continuous process improvement initiatives."
Add to About the role.
Then "Your Job": list of duties:
- Coordinate end-to-end payroll activities across the UK, Ireland, Europe, and Latin America, ensuring accurate and timely payroll delivery through iTrent Payroll (UKI) and outsourced payroll providers (EULA).
- Serve as a primary point of contact for UKI stakeholders and external payroll providers across EU/LA, ensuring effective communication, issue resolution, and service delivery.
- Review, validate, and reconcile payroll data interfaced from SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, Time Management, and manual inputs, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee changes, pay adjustments, benefits, variable pay, and statutory transactions.

- Ensure the timely and accurate submission of payroll data to external payroll providers in line with agreed payroll processing schedules and service level agreements.
- Manage payroll calendars, critical deadlines, approvals, funding requirements, and pre-payroll query resolution across all countries within scope.
- Perform detailed validation of payroll calculations, reports, reconciliations, and payment files, ensuring accuracy and compliance before final payroll approval and sign-off.
- Support month-end and year-end payroll activities, including statutory reporting, reconciliations, audits, and payroll accounting requirements.
- Ensure compliance with local payroll legislation, labour laws, tax regulations, social security requirements, GDPR, and internal controls across all jurisdictions.

- Serve as a subject matter expert for payroll issues across the UK & Ireland, Europe and Latin America regions.
- Investigate and resolve escalated payroll discrepancies, employee queries, and complex issues with professionalism and urgency
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance payroll processes, controls, systems, automation, and provider performance.
- Participate in payroll system testing, upgrades, integrations, and change initiatives relating to SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, Time Management, iTrent Payroll, and other vendor platforms.
- Audit & Data Integrity
- Maintain accurate and complete payroll records and support overall data integrity.
- Support internal and external audits through timely and accurate documentation and responses.
- Keep up-to-date with relevant tax, wage, and employment regulations affecting payroll.
- Reporting & Reconciliation
- Review recurring payroll reports, variance analyses, and post-payroll reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Projects & Team Support
- Contribute to key payroll projects including system changes, and audits.
- Support the development, coaching, and mentoring of payroll team members as required.
We need to treat each bullet as list item. Some have sub-bullets (Audit & Data Integrity etc). We could keep them as list items with sub-items? The instruction: Use
- for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. It doesn't forbid nested lists, but we can keep flat list; but we might lose hierarchy. Better to keep as flat list items; we can include the subheadings as part of the item text.
Thus each line starting with a dash or bold heading we can make a list item.
Now "Your Profile":
- Payroll experience gained within a large, complex, multi-entity and/or multi-country organisation.
- Experience supporting UK, Ireland and EULA payrolls, working closely with outsourced payroll providers.
- A strong understanding of UK payroll legislation, with exposure to international payroll compliance an advantage.
- Experience using HR and payroll systems, ideally SAP SuccessFactors Time Management and iTrent payroll system.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- A strong focus on compliance, data integrity and payroll controls.
- The confidence to build effective relationships with colleagues across HR, Reward, Finance and external payroll partners.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines across different countries and time zones.
- Most importantly, you'll be a proactive team player who takes ownership, embraces continuous improvement, and is committed to delivering an accurate, compliant and customer-focused payroll experience.
We can treat each as list item under Requirements.
Now "About Us" description:
"As the world's leading reinsurance company with more than 11,000 employees at over 50 locations, Munich Re introduces a paradigm shift in the way you think about insurance. By turning uncertainty into a manageable risk we enable fundamental change. Join us working on topics today that will concern society tomorrow, whether that be climate change, major construction projects, medical risk assessment or even space travel. Together we embrace a culture where multiskilled teams dare to think big. We create the new and the different for our clients and cultivate innovation. Does this sound like you? Push boundaries with us and be part of Munich Re. Unlock your potential"
We can include this in About the role as well.
Now we need to remove boilerplate: The DEI statements and the "All candidates..." etc. Also maybe the "Does this sound like you? Push boundaries..." is part of About Us; keep.
Now we need to output HTML fragment only.
Structure:
About the role
...combined paragraphs...

We need to ensure no extra whitespace issues.
Now craft the About the role prose: combine introductory paragraph, Job Summary, About Us description.
We need to ensure we don't repeat content. Let's write a cohesive paragraph
for prose. Do NOT repeat job title as heading. Do NOT put Job ID/requisition numbers as headings. Preserve all substantive info; remove boilerplate, navigation, legal, EEO, equal-opportunity, scam-warning, duplicated lines, application instructions.
