Public Drop-off Attendant

Job Summary

Perform a wide variety of duties in support of the Sioux Falls Regional Sanitary Landfill including operating light equipment, inspecting loads and providing directions to customers at the landfill and drop-off sites regarding where to properly dispose of loads. We are looking for a friendly and helpful person to join our team. You will welcome customers, give them direction for item disposal and waste diversion, and support the landfill operations team.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or GED certification with a minimum of one (1) year experience in customer service; or any such combination of experience, education, or training as may be acceptable to the hiring authority.
• Must possess or be able to obtain prior to hire a valid driver’s license.
