Description of Duties

• Investigating and preparing court cases.
• Interviewing clients and related persons.
• Appearing in court on a regular basis.
• Handling hearings, trials, negotiations, pleas and sentences.

Characteristics of the Ideal Candidate

• An attorney duly licensed to practice law in the State of New York and admitted to practice in all courts within the scope of the plan.
• An ability to work with judges, lawyers, court administrators, other persons within the court system, and court officials.
• A commitment to providing high quality defense to clients.
