About the Opportunity

The Public Comment Project Manager leads the management of a portfolio of regulatory projects requiring public input and data synthesis. The role focuses on overseeing project execution, guiding teams, and maintaining client relationships to ensure projects meet objectives, timelines, and quality standards. This position is critical for driving project success and delivering impactful regulatory solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Support design and implementation of programs, including developing objectives and strategic plans.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve team efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Coordinate internal teams and external consultants/vendors.
  • Manage a small team with mentoring, oversight, and performance management.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and meet technical standards.
  • Oversee development and timely delivery of project deliverables.
  • Develop detailed project plans to monitor progress and manage changes.
  • Manage multiple or interdisciplinary projects when applicable.
  • Maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Advise on technical approaches to achieve project goals, including communication and data management strategies.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external partners.
  • Contribute to proposal development and technical solutions.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in science, health, healthcare, or related field; Master's preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience, including 2 years in project management.
  • Proficiency with research and programmatic software.
  • Advanced skills with SharePoint, Teams, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Competence in budgeting, resource planning, and risk management.
  • Effective communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Potential advanced expertise in a technical area.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Experience consulting for federal agencies and analyzing public comments for HHS agencies is advantageous.

Pay Range and Compensation Package

Salary range: $98,474.00 - $113,245.00
