About the role

The Public Area Attendant/Lobby Porter at the Grand Hyatt Denver is responsible for creating a pleasant and welcoming environment for guests and associates by maintaining the cleanliness of all public spaces in the hotel including the lobby, public restrooms, meeting spaces and other common areas. Candidates must have good communication skills as this position involves significant opportunity for customer interaction. This position is fast paced, requires a considerable amount of walking, and the ability to lift, push and carry a moderate amount of weight. Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of public spaces: lobby, public restrooms, meeting rooms, and other common areas
• Interact with guests, answer questions, and share basic hotel knowledge
• Ensure a pleasant and welcoming environment for guests and associates
• Perform duties in a fast‑paced setting requiring considerable walking
• Lift, push, and carry moderate weights as needed

Qualifications

• Previous hotel cleaning experience preferred
• Comfortable speaking with guests, answering questions, and possessing basic hotel knowledge for conversation
• Ability to lift, push, and pull a moderate amount of weight
• Ability to stand or walk for the duration of the shift
• True desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast‑paced environment
• Refined verbal and written communication skills

Pay

$22.80 per hour

Schedule

Primarily afternoons with a 3 pm start, with flexibility to work mornings starting at 10 am; shifts may be any day of the week, including weekends and holidays.
