Responsibilities & Duties

  • Clean and maintain all public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and outdoor spaces.
  • Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces in common areas.
  • Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to ensure cleanliness.
  • Restock supplies in restrooms and common areas as needed.
  • Report maintenance issues and safety hazards to management promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests regarding public areas.
  • Auxiliary with special event setups and break downs as required.
  • Perform periodic deep cleaning of designated areas.
  • What You Bring

    • A high school diploma or equivalent.
    • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is a plus.
    • Attention to detail and time management skills.
    • Proper use of cleaning equipment and supplies.
    • Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.

    Working Conditions & Physical Effort

    • Physical work is a primary part of many of our hotel and resort jobs.
    • Physical requirements include extended standing and walking, climbing, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and lifting to 50 lbs.
    • Some work is performed in an interior hotel environment with equipment and machines.
    • The work involves exposure to extreme temperatures, chemicals, dirt, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
    • The exposure to hazards or physical risks requires following basic safety precautions and use of applicable protective equipment.
