PUBLIC AREA ATTENDANT/ROOM ATTENDANT

About the role

New Park Manor, part of the Luxury Family Hotels collection, is seeking a diligent and dedicated Public Area Attendant/Room Attendant to ensure guest comfort and maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness. This is a dual role covering both public area cleaning and room attending, combining to a 16-hour position:

• 10 hours per week across 2 fixed shifts on Wednesdays and Saturdays for public area cleaning
• 6-hour shift for room attending, with opportunities for additional shifts throughout the week depending on business levels and operational needs

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all public areas of the hotel, including lounges, restrooms, and other communal spaces
• Ensure all surfaces are dusted, polished, and free of debris
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors as needed to maintain cleanliness standards
• Monitor and replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
• Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department
• Uphold health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements

• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
• Charisma and an engaging personality with a passion for hospitality and providing great service to guests
• A keen eye for detail, ability to work to tight timeframes, and enjoy a physical job role
• Ability to interact with all guests and engage with younger guests
• Excellent time management and communication skills

Pay

£12.71 per hour plus generous service charge.
