Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or relevant industry preferred.
- Familiarity with HOTSOS preferred.
- Must complete OSHA-mandated safety training within the first 30 days of employment.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English with team members, leaders, and guests.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Prolonged standing, walking, lifting, pushing, and pulling 50+ pounds repetitively throughout shift.
- Ability to withstand outdoor elements for long periods of time as needed.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize all areas of the hotel as assigned, including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors, polishing metals, and cleaning doors, frames, signs, and windows.
- Clean and restock public restrooms; remove trash from all assigned indoor and outdoor areas.
- Maintain the highest levels of cleanliness in all public areas.
- Immediately report maintenance deficiencies, damage, or loss to the Housekeeping department.
- Properly use and maintain equipment: carts, vacuums, extractors, burnishing/buffing machines, brooms, wet-vacuums, and upholstery cleaners.
- Other duties as assigned.
