The Role
Our hotel team is seeking a Public Area Attendant who will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and appearance of our public spaces, including hallways, restrooms, and the event pavilion. You will also assist the housekeeping team with various tasks as needed, contributing to the overall guest experience.
What we will ask of you
- Clean and maintain public areas, ensuring they meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Vacuum carpets, clean windows, dust furniture, and empty trash cans.
- Maintain the cleanliness and proper stock of supplies in restrooms, including toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.
- This may include delivering forgotten items to rooms, assisting with luggage, and answering general questions.
Requirements for Success
- Prior cleaning experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional service.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry up to 40 lbs for extended periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Additional education or training in hospitality is a plus.
- Strong work ethic, with a positive and reliable attitude.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently.
- Fluency in English is a requirement.
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
