As a Production Control Planner IV at PTI Technologies, you will play a vital role in overseeing the transport of production components and assemblies between the U.S. and Mexico, specifically focusing on the unique compliance and logistical requirements of a maquiladora operation. You will manage the entire lifecycle of international shipments, ensuring strict adherence to U.S. and Mexican import/export regulations, including the USMCA.
- Resolve scheduling discrepancies
- Analyze production specifications
- Communicate effectively with various departments to ensure timely and compliant deliveries
- Prepare essential documentation
- Cook up logistics
- Maintain optimal inventory levels through MRP systems
- Acknowledge and support R&D initiatives
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive operational efficiency

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Seven to ten years of progressive experience in production planning, materials management, or a related field within aerospace or regulated manufacturing environments
- Advanced knowledge of U.S. and Mexican import/export regulations, including the USMCA and IMMEX
- Proficiency in WDS Manufacturing software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating production specifications and logistics costs
- Attention to detail for maintaining documentation accuracy in audit-sensitive situations
- Effective communication abilities for coordinating with cross-functional teams
- Understanding of cross-border material flows and customs compliance for streamlining operations
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred
