PTC Windchill Developer

About the role

IDR is seeking a PTC Windchill Developer to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves supporting customization, configuration, and integration efforts within a dynamic enterprise environment focused on product lifecycle management (PLM). The organization operates within the manufacturing and industrial sectors, emphasizing modernization and system upgrades to optimize product data management processes.

Responsibilities

• Support development activities for Windchill 14/2027 upgrades and extensions.
• Customize and configure PTC Windchill environments to meet client specifications.
• Deploy MPMLink, Process Plans, and develop PLM interfaces with enterprise systems like SAP S/4 and Apriso MES.
• Perform Windchill data and CAD migrations, along with system installations and upgrades.
• Provide system administration and support technical solutions using Java, J2EE, JavaScript, and XML.

Requirements

• 5+ years of PTC Windchill configuration, customization, and data migration experience.
• 3+ end-to-end Windchill implementation / migration projects.
• Strong Java / J2EE development experience within Windchill.
• Experience with Windchill integration with downstream systems.
• Ability to meet required travel expectations, including up to 2 weeks/month travel; candidates should be U.S. Citizens.
