Weekday/Weekend PRN position available for a Physical Therapy Assistant at Acute Rehabilitation Hospital of Plano.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist
• Implement treatment plans designed to restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disability
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and functional training
• Document patient progress and report findings to the supervising physical therapist
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety strategies

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of Texas
• CPR certification
