About the role

The Salad Bar Service Clerk is responsible for preparing, stocking, and maintaining the salad bar to ensure fresh, high-quality products are available for customers throughout the day. This role follows food safety and sanitation standards, rotates stock, and keeps the salad bar clean, organized, and visually appealing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, stock, and rotate salad bar items to ensure freshness, quality, and availability throughout the day.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by keeping the salad bar area clean, organized, and compliant with health guidelines.
• Provide courteous customer service by answering questions, assisting with product selection, and restocking as needed.
• Execute all production planning

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
• 1-3 years of progressive experience in prepared food, retail, or food service.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must meet minimum age requirements in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Flexibility to work a retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Fast-paced retail grocery store.
• Frequent interaction with customers and team members.
• May involve exposure to varying temperatures (e.g., near entrance or refrigerated areas).

Pay

Salary range is between $15.00 - $15.80/hr.

Schedule

Flexibility to work a retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
