About the role

The Service Clerk / Porter plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and employees throughout the store. This position is responsible for general cleaning, cart retrieval, and assisting with various support tasks to ensure smooth store operations. The Service Clerk / Porter provides excellent customer service by helping shoppers as needed, responding promptly to requests, and upholding the store's standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, and stock products while following food safety, sanitation, and rotation standards.
• Assist customers with product selection and special orders while delivering friendly, knowledgeable service.
• Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing displays to support department sales and a positive shopping experience.
• Perform general cleaning and cart retrieval to ensure a safe and welcoming store environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Oral and written communication skills
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service
• Attention to detail
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Must meet minimum age requirements in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Flexibility to work a retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Pay

$18.00/hourly
