About the Role

The Service Clerk provides customer-focused service while assisting in flower shop, deli, or bakery departments. This role is responsible for preparing, packaging, and stocking products, maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards, and ensuring attractive displays. The Service Clerk prepares packaged goods and assists customers with product selection, special orders, and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, and stock products while following food safety, sanitation, and rotation standards.
• Assist customers with product selection and special orders while delivering friendly, knowledgeable service.
• Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing displays to support department sales and a positive shopping experience.
• Collaborate across boundaries to deliver on strategy and purpose.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Must meet minimum age requirements in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Flexibility to work a retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
