About the role

The Service Clerk provides customer-focused service while assisting in the bakery department. This role is responsible for preparing, packaging, and stocking products, maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards, and ensuring attractive displays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, and stock products while following food safety, sanitation, and rotation standards.
• Absorb and assist customers with product selection and special orders while delivering friendly, knowledgeable service.
• Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing displays to support department sales and a positive shopping experience.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• A commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• An attention to detail.
• The ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• To meet minimum age requirements in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Flexibility to work a retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
