About the Role

As a Part-Time Self Checkout Ambassador, you will play a key role in ensuring a smooth and efficient checkout experience for customers using self-service kiosks. This position supports retail operations by assisting customers, monitoring transactions, and maintaining a welcoming front-end environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with self-checkout processes, troubleshooting issues, and answering questions.
• Monitor self-checkout stations to prevent errors, theft, or misuse.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-friendly checkout area.
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Collaborate with store team members to address operational needs and improve efficiency.
• Follow store policies and procedures for handling cash, transactions, and customer interactions.

Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with handling cash or transactions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
