About the role

Provide fast, easy, flexible and friendly service to customers by meeting Food Lion customer service standards, while being courteous and cooperative with fellow associates. Assist the Customer Service Manager and Assistant Customer Service Manager in maintaining Front End Standard Practices and maximizing sales through excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Smile and provide prompt, accurate, and friendly service while engaging customers to create a positive shopping experience.
• Greet each customer and use their name whenever possible.
• Assist customers in using self‑checkouts properly, including the hand scanner, to ensure a fast and easy checkout experience.
• Respond timely to customer inquiries and self‑checkout system notifications.
