About the role

This position is with Ahold Delhaize USA, the parent company for Ahold Delhaize's U.S. companies, including local brands Food Lion, Giant Food, The GIANT Company, Hannaford and Stop & Shop, and U.S. services companies Retail Business Services, Peapod Digital Labs and ADUSA Supply Chain. The local brands comprise the largest grocery retail group on the East Coast and the fourth largest grocery retail group in the nation, operating more than 2,000 stores and distribution centers across more than 20 states.

Responsibilities

• Front end operations and customer service
• Supervising front-end staff and ensuring efficient checkout processes
• Managing cash handling procedures and maintaining accuracy
• Addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly
• Maintaining store appearance and cleanliness standards
• Assisting with training and development of team members

Requirements

• Previous retail or customer service experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends
• Basic math and cash handling proficiency
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
