About the role

This is a part-time position as a Self Checkout Ambassador at Store 00707 in Shelby, North Carolina. You will be responsible for overseeing the self-checkout area, assisting customers with transactions, and ensuring a smooth and efficient checkout experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor self-checkout stations and provide assistance to customers as needed
• Resolve scanner or payment issues quickly and courteously
• Ensure customers follow proper checkout procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the self-checkout area
• Greet customers and offer excellent service
• Verify age-restricted purchases as required
• Assist with bagging and answer product-related questions

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to operate self-checkout equipment and troubleshoot minor technical issues
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as assigned
