Duties/Responsibilities
- Creates a welcoming environment for customers.
- Immediately responds to customer inquiries and needs.
- Sets proactive goals to enhance customer experiences.
- Locates, ensures availability, and assists with merchandise selection.
- Uses basic selling techniques to engage customers.
- Introduces current sales, promotions, and brand initiatives.
- Completes sales transactions and maintains proper accountability.
- Processes merchandise returns and exchanges.
- Speaks positively about the brand, customers, and team members.
- Maintains a positive attitude and service mentality.
- Adheres to the Company’s Customer FIRST model.
- Assists in maintaining visual standards for the store.
- Supports daily store recovery efforts.
- Adapts to changing environments and manages multiple tasks.
- Provides support for cross-functional departments.
- Ensures interactions are free from bias or prejudice.
- Trains in and uses POS register system.
- Works flexible schedules including closing shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Complies with physical demands such as lifting, carrying, standing, walking, and working with chemicals.
Requirements
- At least 16 years of age.
- One year of retail sales experience and previous cash handling experience preferred.
- Energetic and charismatic personality.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to act with integrity and maturity.
