Duties/Responsibilities

  • Creates a welcoming environment for customers.
  • Responds promptly to customer inquiries and needs.
  • Seeks opportunities to enhance the customer experience.
  • Locates, ensures availability, and assists with merchandise selection.
  • Uses basic selling techniques to engage customers.
  • Introduces current sales, promotions, and brand initiatives.
  • Follows the Company’s Customer FIRST model.
  • Completes sales transactions and maintains proper accountability.
  • Processes merchandise returns and exchanges.
  • Speaks positively about the brand, customers, and team members.
  • Demonstrates initiative, teamwork, and ownership.
  • Maintains visual standards for the store.
  • Assists in daily store recovery.
  • Adheres to company policies and loss prevention practices.
  • Shares feedback and ideas to improve store processes.
  • Adapts to changing environments and manages multiple tasks.
  • Supports cross-functional departments.

Requirements

  • At least 16 years of age.
  • One year of retail sales experience, with previous cash handling experience preferred.
  • Energetic and charismatic personality.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to act with integrity and maturity.
  • Ability to complete sales transactions using POS register system.
  • Flexible schedule available, including closing shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Able to stand and walk for up to 100% of the working time.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to perform repetitive finger, hand, and wrist motions, as well as bending, stooping, reaching, squatting, kneeling, pushing, pulling, climbing ladders, and working with cleaning chemicals.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to perform the essential job functions as required by the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
  • Must be able to maintain regular and timely attendance.
  • Must be able to bend, lift, open, and move product and fixtures up to 50 lbs., as needed.
