About the Role

The Receiver is responsible for accurately unloading, checking, and verifying incoming shipments to ensure product quality, accuracy, and compliance with store standards. This role maintains organized backroom and storage areas, ensures proper documentation of deliveries, and communicates discrepancies or issues with vendors and store management. The Receiver supports efficient store operations by coordinating with department teams to stage and distribute products for timely stocking.

• Organize and maintain backroom and storage areas, following safety and rotation procedures
• Communicate delivery issues or discrepancies with vendors and management to ensure proper resolution

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1-3 years of progressive experience in grocery, retail, or food service
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service
• Attention to detail
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must meet minimum age requirements in accordance with federal, state, and local laws
• Flexibility to work a retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Work Environment

Fast-paced retail grocery store. Frequent interaction with customers and team members. May involve exposure to varying temperatures (e.g., near entrance or refrigerated areas).

Pay

Salary range is between $15.00 - $18.00 Hrly
