PT Produce

Cub Maplewood East is looking for a dedicated individual to join the produce team on a part-time basis. This role focuses on stocking, organizing, and maintaining the visual appeal of produce shelves, with a strong emphasis on product rotation to ensure freshness and minimize waste. Attention to detail and excellent customer service skills are essential to creating an efficient and enjoyable shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, box cutters, balers, scanners, registers, check approval machines, coupon machines, intercoms, and calculators.
• Walk long distances and stand for extended periods.
• Engage in ongoing customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service.
• Exercise good judgment, especially when direct supervision may not be immediately available.
• Understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing.
• Memorize, read, write, and perform basic math tasks.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Able to work shifts of varying lengths and times, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting and carrying up to 70 lbs.
• Pushing and pulling up to 2500 lbs.
• Walking on uneven ground.
• Reaching, bending, and performing repetitive motions.
• Exposure to hot equipment and cooking oil.

Schedule

• 10:00 PM – 8:00 PM (weekends required).
