About the role
Our porters are essential members of the Stop & Shop team, responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment. They perform tasks such as sweeping, mopping, waxing floors, disposing of trash, and tidying up back rooms, breakrooms, and workstations.
Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, and wax floors
- Dispose of trash
- Tidy up back rooms, breakrooms, and work stations
- Assist in other ways as needed
Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Basic computer skills (optional)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license (if required for transportation)
