PT PM Shift Caregiver/Med Tech

About the role

This position involves providing personal care services including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), mobility, positioning, bathing, toileting, and dining assistance. Additionally, the role includes meal preparation, laundry, and maintaining a clean, safe physical environment.

Responsibilities

• Observing and reporting any changes in resident condition to management
• Timely and proper response to call lights
• Adherence to the resident care plan as written
• Performance of delegated tasks as directed by Registered Nurse (RN), Residence Director, and Resident Care Coordinator (RCC)
• Assistance with housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, cleaning, etc.
• Assistance with activities for residents as directed
• Accurate, complete, and timely documentation of observations and activity participation
• Maintaining a professional appearance and attitude
• Achieving excellent work attendance and punctuality for work shifts
• Collaboration as a team player
• Attendance at all mandatory staff meetings and in-service trainings

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with the ability to read and comprehend written instructions
• Satisfactory criminal background and reference check

• Rendering care and service to seniors with or without dementia
