PT Parking Attendant- Carpenter Hotel

About the role

The Carpenter Hotel seeks a Parking Attendant to manage their 52-space parking lot and provide a welcoming experience for guests. This role does not involve valet services.

Responsibilities

• Maintain parking lot availability and assist guests with parking inquiries
• Coordinate parking between hotel guests and restaurant patrons
• Conduct regular audits to ensure proper use and occupancy
• Communicate with Front Desk to assist guests registering
• Provide exceptional customer service and represent the hotel professionally
• Occasionally assist with luggage and escorting belongings to guest rooms
• Report maintenance, safety, or operational concerns
• Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all visitors

Qualifications

• Able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the workplace
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with Front Desk staff
• Comfortable using mobile devices and communication tools provided by the hotel
• Ability to make quick decisions and stay organized during busy periods
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods
• Able to stand, walk, lift, and move throughout the property for the entirety of an 8-hour shift
• Able to stand and walk for prolonged periods
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Able to lift and carry luggage up to 40 pounds
• Able to bend, reach, push, pull, and move throughout the property as needed
