Responsibilities

• Perform total store management responsibilities as required
• Manage, implement, and maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation
• Champion and support the culture and values of Stop & Shop
• Deliver a streamlined, personalized shopping experience for customers
• Create a welcoming and safe environment on the sales floor
• Interact positively with customers and associates using exceptional interpersonal skills

Requirements

• A high school diploma is required, with some college education preferred
• Previous grocery retail management experience of 2 to 4 years is preferred
• Strong interpersonal, decision-making, delegation, leadership, and conflict management skills are essential

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, lifting, and reaching
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
