Role Summary

The Member Service Associate (MSA) serves as a resource to members, handling routine transactions, escalating complex issues, and engaging in member relationship building. They also assist with digital banking, fraud disputes, and other member needs.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Provide exceptional member service and solve problems promptly.
  • Elevate member concerns and follow up as necessary.
  • Converse fluently about financial literacy, products, and services.
  • Offer appropriate products and services to deepen member relationships.
  • Make outbound calls to establish, grow, and nurture member relationships.
  • Ensure branch equipment is operational and escalate non-repairable issues.
  • Accurately handle transactions, balance cash drawers, and manage reports.
  • Achieve service levels, job performance, and organizational goals.
  • Adapt to changing priorities with a positive attitude.
  • Exercise discretion and sensitivity during member transactions.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of customer service experience preferred.
  • Some cash handling experience preferred.
  • Demonstrate and support credit union values and service standards.
  • Attend and engage in community events on behalf of the credit union.
  • Maintain confidentiality, control risk, and manage operations according to company policies.
  • Show personal integrity and ethics.
  • Pass a pre-employment credit/background check.

Full Salary Range

$17.13 - $25.99 per hour
