Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions in Anatomy and Physiology.
- Support students in understanding microscope functions and identifying specimens under magnification.
- Contribute to student learning, growth, and confidence in science coursework.
- Develop strategies that promote scientific thinking and effective study habits.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to align tutoring strategies with course expectations.
- Create supplemental learning materials as needed.
- Stay updated on curriculum developments in Anatomy and Physiology.
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions in TracCloud.
- Distribute and collect student feedback as directed.
- Refer students to additional campus support resources when appropriate.
Qualifications/Skills
- Minimum of a B or higher in college-level Anatomy and Physiology.
- Experience with microscopes and familiarity with histology content is preferred.
- Comfortable explaining scientific concepts clearly and patiently.
- Emotionally mature, dependable, and professional.
- Open to feedback and capable of working collaboratively.
