About the role

The Art Department at NorthWest Arkansas Community College (NWACC) seeks qualified applicants to establish a pool of part-time life models for figure drawing and other courses.

Responsibilities

• Comfortable posing nude
• Professional presence and interaction with students and faculty
• Able to work primarily daytime and some evening hours as needed
• Arrive on time and be ready to pose as scheduled
• Work in a multiethnic/multicultural environment

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Pass a criminal background check
• Physical fitness level to pose for an hour or more at a time
• At least 2 years of experience as a life model in a university, college, or community arts center (preferred)
• Minimum of 2 references from supervisors from modeling at a college, university, or community art center

Preferred qualifications include at least 2 years of experience in a university, college, or community arts center as a life model.

Skills

Comfortable posing nude, professional presence, ability to work in a multiethnic/multicultural environment, reliability, and punctuality.

Pay

$18 - $22 per hour depending on experience; usual hours per week = 2.75 hours

Schedule

The schedule is flexible and can vary based on the needs of the Art Department.

Physical and Environmental Demands

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Physical demands include frequent manipulation of items with fingers, sitting, standing, walking, hearing, repetitive motion, talking, and constant activity.
