PT-Key Holder

About the role

The PT-Key Holder is a part-time, on-site role based in Warwick, RI, responsible for supporting daily store operations and providing an excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store as assigned, securing the premises
• Follow all cash-handling and loss-prevention procedures
• Assist customers with product selection and answer questions about professional salon brands
• Process transactions efficiently and accurately
• Maintain merchandising standards and restock inventory
• Ensure the sales floor and backroom are organized and clean
• Collaborate with the store team to meet sales goals
• Support promotional events
• Consistently uphold SalonCentric's service and safety standards

Qualifications

• Customer service and retail sales skills, including the ability to engage professionally with diverse clientele and build ongoing customer relationships
• Cash-handling, point-of-sale, and basic math skills to process transactions accurately and follow key holder responsibilities for opening and closing
• Store operations skills such as merchandising, inventory replenishment, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Communication and teamwork skills, including clear verbal communication, active listening, and effective collaboration with store leadership and colleagues
• Basic knowledge of or interest in professional beauty and haircare products, with a willingness to learn through training and education
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move merchandise as needed, and work a flexible part-time schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Previous retail, key holder, or supervisory experience is preferred but not required; high school diploma or equivalent is beneficial
