The University of Mississippi Medical Center seeks an experienced PT Instructor for the School of Dentistry - Department of Dental Hygiene. Located in Jackson, MS, UMMC is committed to improving health outcomes for Mississippi residents through education, research, and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Teach and mentor dental hygiene students in clinical settings
• Conduct clinical evaluations and provide feedback to students
• Participate in departmental and institutional committees
• Assist in curriculum development and revision

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in the state of Mississippi
• Experience teaching dental hygiene students
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Dental Hygiene or related field
• At least 2 years of clinical experience as a Dental Hygienist
• Knowledge of dental hygiene principles and practices

Skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Effective problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
