PT Hub Dispatch Supervisor

Job Summary

This position assists and reviews UPS Small Package dispatch activity to ensure timely and proficient service. It involves assisting with dispatch planning, ensuring service, safety, and cost goals are met, coordinating with others to execute dispatch plans efficiently, overseeing load/tractor planning and assignments, monitoring load movement, tracking equipment condition, reviewing and analyzing dispatch and service reports, creating efficient dispatch plans, verifying service levels, addressing performance issues, incorporating modifications, overseeing yard operations, and coordinating drivers with load volume.

Responsibilities

• Reviews driver hours to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conducts hazardous materials audits.
• Reviews safety reports.
• Verifies appropriate driver uniforms and utilization of safe work methods.
• Determines employee training needs to produce continuous development plans.
• Conducts performance evaluations and resolve individual and group performance issues.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work flexible shift hours and on the weekends.
• Experience supervising employees - Preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Pay Range

The base pay for this position ranges from $26.25/hr to $42.65/hr. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate’s work experience.
