About the role

As a Registered Nurse on 5 McAuley, you will provide care to patients who are pre/post-op for various surgeries along with general medical/surgical cases. Responsibilities

• Ensure quality nursing care is rendered to all patients in accordance with the New York Nurse Practice Act, National Standards of Practice, and Nursing and Clinical Service standards of care and practice.
• Utilize the Nursing Process to plan, direct, and supervise patient care, including involvement in the provision of direct care to patients and families.

Requirements

• Current and valid NYS RN license (or plan to obtain if a recent/future graduate).
• ASN/BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS Certification (preferred).
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Pay

$40–$53.10 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may vary based on location.
