About the Role
The Cook's primary objective is the preparation of food items to ensure high standards of quality and quantity to meet the needs of residents across Residential Living, Assisted Living, Memory Support, and the Health Center Dining Room. Handles food in accordance with sanitary standards and recognized food preparation practices.
Responsibilities
- Prepares food, including washing, trimming, cutting, portioning, measuring, mixing, and panning.
- Cooks food using methods such as baking, broiling, frying, steaming, braising, boiling, and pressure cooking.
- Prepares food for booked catering events.
- Provides meals that are properly cooked, tasty, and attractive, meeting high standards for quality and presentation while ensuring dietary needs are met.
Requirements
- Prior culinary, food service, or restaurant experience.
- Food Handler’s certification.
- ServSafe certification (preferred).

Pay
$20–$24.25 per hour, depending on experience.
Schedule
- Shifts: 10 AM–2 PM or 4 PM–8 PM.
- Most weekends required, with flexibility during weekdays.
