About the role

Our produce clerks in Stop & Shop stores are responsible for managing the produce department. They ensure that displays and shelves are filled with fresh, high-quality produce and maintain a clean and organized environment. Additionally, they assist customers in finding the products they need.

Responsibilities

• Filling produce displays and shelves with fresh, high-quality items
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the produce department
• Aiding customers in locating desired produce items

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in retail operations preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Customer service orientation

Skills

• Knowledge of produce varieties and storage techniques
• Basic computer skills for inventory management
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
