About the role
The primary responsibility of a Giant Pickup Clerk is to assist customers in picking up their orders efficiently and accurately.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting and bagging their grocery items.
- Ensure all orders are accurate and complete before processing payment.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a courteous manner.
- Operate cash registers and ensure proper handling of money and credit card transactions.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
- Valid driver’s license (if applicable).
