About the role

As a Store Administrator at Giant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store. You will be responsible for managing store operations, customer service, and inventory management.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily store operations including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and inventory management.
  • Ensure compliance with all store policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
  • Manage employee relations, conduct performance evaluations, and provide training and development opportunities.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints, providing excellent customer service.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Participate in store events and promotions to enhance customer engagement and loyalty.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail operations, preferably in grocery or similar industry.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with employees and customers.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Access.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $40,000 - $50,000 annually.

Schedule
