About the role
The Pharmacy Clerk provides front-end support to the pharmacy by assisting customers at the counter, processing transactions, and answering basic questions. This role helps maintain patient records, organize and stock supplies, and ensure the pharmacy area is clean and orderly.
Responsibilities
- Process sales transactions
- Maintain patient records
- Keep the pharmacy counter organized
- Assist with supplies
- Monitor inventory levels
- Ensure a clean, orderly work environment
- Greet patients, answer basic questions, and direct clinical inquiries to the pharmacist or technician
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Oral and written communication skills
- A commitment to providing excellent customer service
- An attention to detail
