About the role

Dairy clerks at Stop & Shop are responsible for a variety of tasks including stocking shelves, creating displays, and keeping the store neat. They may also be asked to assist in other ways as needed.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves and restock products as needed
• Create and maintain product displays
• Keep store aisles and common areas tidy and organized
• Assist customers with product selection and checkout
• Handle cash transactions and ensure accuracy
• Participate in store events and promotions
• Support other departments as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or similar customer-facing environment preferred
• Knowledge of food safety and handling practices
• Strong organizational and time management skills
