PT Bakery Clerk

Cub Hastings is looking for a dedicated individual to fill a part-time bakery clerk position. Bakery Clerks provide wrapping, stocking, and customer service support for the department to meet daily sales goals and ensure a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and wrap bakery product
• Stock, rotate, and face bakery product
• Perform clean-up of department
• Assist with department merchandising as directed
• Assist with customer questions or requests

Requirements

• Operate equipment (shrink wrap, label machine, bread slicer, knives, bakery racks, etc.)
• Able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time
• Ongoing customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service
• Good judgment, as direct supervision may not always be available
• Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Physical Requirements

• Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs
• Pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs
• Walking on uneven ground
• Reaching, bending, turning, repetitive motions
• Extended exposure to varied temperatures and wet surfaces

Schedule

• Start time between 2:00 am - 7:00 am
• Weekends required
• Shifts vary in length and time, including nights, weekends, and holidays
