Responsibilities
Location/work environment: In facility
Reporting structure: Reporting to Director of Rehab
- Implement physical therapy programs and activities
- Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments
- Address the whole patient as an individual
- Execute programs that restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities
- Adapt to the needs of the patient and find joy in the variety of work and settings
- Collaborate with peers and make referrals to help patients get the care they need to thrive
- Put patients first, ensuring patients and families receive the highest quality service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association
- Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state of practice
