Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and develop recovery plans
- Deliver physical therapy to help patients restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities
- Address the whole patient and see them as an individual
- Adapt to the needs of the patient and the variety of work settings
- Collaborate with peers and make referrals to help patients get the care they need
- Train patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence and productivity
Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy; OR
- Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; OR
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience
- Physical Therapy degree earned outside the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy
