About the role
We are currently seeking a Physical Therapy Aide (PTA) to join our outstanding healthcare team at Montebello Care Center.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatments as directed by the Physical Therapist.
- Aid residents with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, transfers, and gait training.
- Support residents in reaching their therapy goals and improving independence.
- Complete detailed, accurate, and timely documentation for all treatment sessions.
- Use PCC and Net Health to document care, track progress, and support effective communication.
- Communicate resident progress, changes, and concerns to the therapy team.
- Maintain a safe, positive, and encouraging treatment environment.
- Work closely with nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary team members.
Qualifications
- Current California Physical Therapist Assistant license.
- Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred.
- Familiarity with PCC and Net Health preferred.
- Strong documentation, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused.
