PT Advanced Practitioner

Capital Cardiology Associates is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our inpatient cardiology service at Albany Medical Center.

About the role

This inpatient-only position covers cardiology service patients, answers pages, and sees routine and urgent cardiac consults. The right candidate will be comfortable working independently and autonomously in the acute hospital setting while collaborating with the primary care team. A cardiologist is on call for urgent matters.

Schedule

Evening into overnight shifts, three shifts of 8 or 10 hours per week, including rotating weekends and holidays. Flexible scheduling ensures consistent coverage while maintaining high standards of patient care.

Requirements

• Current NYS PA or NP license in good standing
• Board Certification
• BLS/ACLS certification

NPs or PAs with strong knowledge in cardiology and/or critical care are preferred. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Pay

$93,600–$101,400 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
